The Fox Whose Stomach Had Swollen

A hungry fox once saw a lot of bread and meat lying within a cavity of a tree which was put in there by some shepherd. And after he had gone into the cavity, he bolted everything. But because of this his stomach had swollen so much that he couldn't get out of the cavity anymore, and he started whining and whimpering.

Another fox, who happened to be in the neighbourhood, heard his wailing and rushed towards it to see what had happened. And when he found out what had happened he said to the captive fox: "But silly fox, you just have to wait and stay in here for a while until your stomach has regained the size it had before you came in here, and then you can get out easily."

This fable illustrates that certain kinds of problems will automatically be solved in due time.
