The Human and The Fox
There was once a human who hated a fox badly for he had caused him harm. To show the fox
his power and to take ample revenge he took a rope, that he had dipped in olive oil, tied it
to the fox's tail and set fire to it.
But a god led the poor fox over the farmland where the human had built his crops. At that time
the crops were ready to be harvested. But the human walked away sadly and harvested nothing.
So one has to be gentle and not get into immeasurable rage, for anger often yields great
disaster from those who are short-tempered.
